Equality in organisational activities

All student organisations organise public events, either for their members or for everyone interested. They are one of the most visible parts of organisational activities and require focus before and after the event, too. You need to take care of safety and equality throughout the entire event. You may also encounter crisis situations at the events and activities of student organisations. They are usually surprising and stressful for both the organisers and the participants. The resolution of such situations is greatly aided by the competent and efficient actions of the organisers. HYY’s Event Safety Manual covers the basics of event safety while also including instructions on how to act in various crisis situations.
